We are delighted
that you are visiting our Site. This section of our Site
contains messages of encouragement specially geared toward our young
friends. In the coming weeks, we will add
scriptures, interviews, videos, question and answer segments, all to
encourage you in your walk with the Lord.
Today we invite
you to listen to a segment of an interview given by Rachael
Lodenkamp to 3ABN, titled "More than Conquerors."
Use the player above to listen to Rachael as
she explains how great it is to serve the Lord even in the face of
adversities. It is our hope and prayer that as you listen,
especially if you are facing some difficulties in your life right
now, you will be encouraged and you will receive a blessing. To

I recently had an opportunity to speak to a young person who was in
trouble spiritually. Briefly after talking to her I soon discovered
that she had been making little choices to walk away from the Lord
with each new day going deeper into sin.
As she began to talk to me I immediately went into prayer just
asking the Lord to put the right words in my mouth to say to her.
Words that would reach this young person where they were and turn
their heart towards Him again. You know all that the Lord asks of us
is that we are willing to be His servants, His voices, and that when
He gives us something to say or do, we will do it even if we don't
feel "qualified or able." If I had not spent my devotion time with
God that day, I would have had nothing to encourage her heart with.
Three things I saw that were drawing her away from peace with God
and herself were;
1. Choosing associates that had no desire to follow God.
2. Not following the guidance of her parents which directly goes
against the 5th commandment of God.
3. Ignoring the Holy Spirit of God all through the day.
The girl said, "I haven't been having devotions and I know that is
one of my biggest problems." I want to encourage the youth to seek
first the kingdom of God.....always make time to have a special
appointment with God in the morning no matter how busy you are. Read
God's word, and allow His principles to guide your decisions. Then
you will find true happiness. We all know that by beholding we
become changed so let's behold what is lovely, honest, just and pure
and follow God with our whole hearts.
God bless each one of you as you seek to do His will!
