Biography

For His Honor was established to honor our Creator through the ministry of music and testimony. The four children of the late Mark Lodenkamp and their mother Maria Lodenkamp minister as a family. They've been invited to perform around the country giving concerts that combine Christian, classical and contemporary music thus sharing their faith through their music.

The Lodenkamp children have performed to God's glory in many churches and participated in concerts and camp meetings, in a number of states including Montana, Illinois, Indiana, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Minnesota, Hawaii, North Carolina, Florida, Wisconsin, Michigan, Georgia, etc.

Their music can be heard on some Christian radio stations. They have appeared on Kids Time and 3 ABN Presents, Three Angels Broadcasting network (3 ABN) , one of the Networks that reaches every continent in the world.

The Lodenkamp children also enjoy school, family outings, mountain biking, mountain climbing, hiking and horse back riding.

The Lodenkamp Children have been playing together since 1999.

Rachael, 18, Jonathan, 17, Rebekah, 15, and Esther, 12, have all studied a number of instruments including piano, flute, cello, harp and violin. Rachael performs mainly on the harp and piano, but also plays the violin, and flute. Jonathan plays the cello and piano, Rebekah the viola, flute and piano and Esther on the violin. The children are now studying with Lawrence Academy of Arts in Appleton and with the first chair harpist of the Milwaukee Symphony.

The For His Honor group has cut several CD's the first is titled "For His Honor", the second is the very popular "Looking at You." They are currently cutting a third CD which will be available for the Christmas holidays. Stay tuned...

Statement of Mission

For His Honor was established to honor our Creator through the ministry of music and testimony. It is our humble desire to encourage and uplift others by helping them see the vision God has for His children. After the death of our husband and father, our focus has increased even greater to proclaim God's abundant grace and goodness despite trials in this life. Below you will find links to the articles of faith that have inspired us to go forth and continue in the legacy Mark has left behind through Jesus Christ.
